The APA (American Psychological Association) style is most commonly used to cite sources within the social sciences. The revised 6th edition, second printing of the APA manual, offers examples for the general format of the APA research papers, in-text citations, endnotes/footnotes, and the end reference page.

APA requires you cite the authors or source every time you refer to about their work. Depending on how you cite or construct the sentence, the last name of the two authors and the year of publication should be included. When your material of reference or source has two authors, you need to cite both names every time you refer to their work.

APA style requires you cite every reference or source within your essay or thesis paper. For in-text citation, depending on the manner in which the sentence has been constructed, the author’s last name and the year of publication should be included
