How To Join The Philippine Navy Officer Job Position Category?

There are many men and women wanting to join the Philippine Navy, but do not know where to begin. The Philippine Navy, otherwise known as the Hukbong Dagat ng Pilipinas, is composed of the Philippine Marine Corps and the Philippine Fleet.

 

This article is for those who are trying to apply under the Officers Position of the Philippine Navy. While undergoing for training, candidates will receive a basic monthly pay plus additional monthly allowance and year end cash gifts and bonuses.

 




 

In Cebu, interested applicants may apply at the Navforcen headquarters in Looc, LapuLapu City. You may call the Navforcen Personnel office at 032 3409401 local 3115 or 0922-8826553, 0917-3090420 and 032 3409390.

 

Applicants may also contact or visit the Naval Reserve Center Eastern Visayas at Pier 3, Arellano Boulevard, Cebu City at 259-1136 local 6882; 514th NROTC unit in Tagbilaran City at 0939-7943238 and 563rd NROTC Unit at Siquijor State College in Larena, Siquijor.

 

Sometimes, there are series of mobile recruitments conducted at several Navy operational commands such a as Naval Forces Northern Luzon n La Union; Naval Forces Southern Luzon in Legaspi, Naval Forces Central in Cebu.

 

 

Eligibility for Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC) for Sailors

  • Must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character.
  • Must be between 21-28 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child to support.
  • Graduate of a 4-year baccalaureate degree (preferably technical courses).
  • Height of 5’0″ for both Male and Female.
  • Must not have any pending civil / criminal case.
  • Physically and mentally fit for training.
  • Must have complete four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws.
  • Must pass the AFP Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT), IQ and Special Written Examination (SWE).

 

 

Requirements

  • Original and Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records
  • Original and Photocopy of College Diploma
  • 2×2 colored ID Picture with white Background
  • Accomplished Application Form

 

 

Benefits

  • Basic pay of Php 29,945.00 for officer in the rank of Ensign with lots of opportunities for increases as may be promoted to the higher ranks up to Flag Rank level.
  • Additional monthly allowance of Php 5,750 pay.
  • Longevity pay 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
  • Cash gifts and bonuses.

 

 

 

Eligibility for Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC) for Marines

  • Must be a Filipino Citizen and of Good Moral character.
  • Must be 21-29 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child to support.
  • Graduate of any baccalaureate degree.
  • Height of at least 5’4″ (male) and 5’2″ (female)
  • Must not have any pending civil / criminal case.
  • Physically, Mentally and Psychiological fit for military training.
  • Must pass the AFP Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT), IQ and Special Written Examination (SWE).

  • Birth Certificate (NSO)
  • College Diploma
  • Transcript of Records
  • 2×2 Picture with white background

 

 

Benefits

  • Basic pay of Php 32,375.00 for officer in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with lots of opportunities for increases as may be promoted to the higher ranks up to General level.
  • Additional monthly allowance of Php 5,750 pay.
  • Longevity pay 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
  • Cash gifts and bonuses.
