PGMA Higher Education Loan Program

Due to the tremendous demand for financial aid from students at the higher education level, particularly those studying in private colleges and universities, the Office of the President released funds for the student loan. CHED delegated to participating private colleges and universities the management of the student loan program called as The PGMA Higher Education Loan Program. By virtue of the Commission en banc Resolution No. 330-2006 dated May 8, 2006, the program provides assistance to the financially needy 3rd , 4th, and graduating college students and to qualified students.

Cebu Pacific Five Year Study Now Pay Later Plan For Cadet Pilot Program

Cebu Pacific is shelling out some $25 million in the next five years for a cadet pilot training program. The airline plans to send out 240 cadets for training to the Flight Training Adelaide campus in Adelaide, Australia. The 56 week program includes integrated flying training, flight theory, and education course for an aspirant to become a licensed commercial pilot.

RCBC Savings Bank Study Now Pay Later Plan With Alpha Aviation Group

The Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program was designed to help cadets finance their training with the Alpha Aviation Group in the Philippines. In partnership with the RCBC Savings Bank, the program seeks to provide support through RCBC’s multipurpose MyHome Housing Loan. Open to Filipino nationals, the SNPL can be utilized for the following flight training programs, namely the Alpha Airline Pilot Porgram and the Airbus A320 Type Rating.

Study Now Pay Later Plan Act of 2017

Study Now Pay Later Act of 2017 program mandating all private higher education institutions (PHEIs) to let poor students get a degree and pay when they land in a job when they graduate got a push from Baguio lawmaker Marques Go in the House of Representatives. Go filed House Bill No. 5066 to allow any Filipino citizen enrolled in any degree program at any PHIE and whose family income does not exceed P300,000 per annum to pay the tuition when the beneficiary has been gainfully employed.
